PaperCut MF 25.0.11 (Build 75756)
Posted on 05 May 2026 10:43 AM
Print Provider version 111.2.16.9615
Print Deploy server version 1.9.3043

Enhancements

  • User Synchronization:
    • Added a new synchronization option for Windows Active Directory “Prevent printing for disabled users.” When enabled, any user account marked as disabled in Active Directory will automatically have its printing status set to “Disabled indefinitely” within PaperCut during the next synchronization. [PO-3530]
    • Improved group management: Added a new configuration key that allows System Administrators to disable group membership updates during a user sync. This provides greater control over group management by preventing PaperCut from overwriting manual group changes or specific sync behaviors when set to ‘NEVER’. [PO-4186]
  • System Notifications: Added automated email alerts for subscription renewals. System Administrators can now enable the “Licensing Issues” notification under Options > Notifications to receive alerts 30 days from expiry, on the day of expiry, and anytime after it has expired. [PO-3824]
  • Accessibility improvements: Enhanced the Admin and User interfaces:
    • Added descriptive text (alt tags) to images where it was missing.
    • Updated labeling for input fields that lacked clear labels.
    • Added a ‘skip to content’ keyboard shortcut, allowing System Administrators and users to quickly navigate past header menus directly to the main page content.
    • Updated color contrast to meet AA WCAG standards.
    • Enlarged some links and buttons to a minimum of 24px to make them easier to select and improve navigation and ease of use, especially on touch-screen devices. [PO-3801]

Fixes

  • Integrated Scanning:
    • Fixed an issue where scan jobs could fail when a user included forward or backslashes in the filename. [PO-4121]
    • Fixed an issue where certain metadata variables, such as {{device_name}} and {{device_location}}, did not resolve correctly in file naming patterns. Additionally, updated the {{user}} variable to ensure it correctly displays the username rather than internal system code. [PO-4072]
  • Fixed an issue to ensure the User Client meets Apple’s Gatekeeper security requirements. The User Client is now a signed and notarized application on Linux and Windows Application Server installations in addition to macOS. This update also introduces updated client-local-install.app behavior to manage local deployments without invalidating the application’s cryptographic signature. [PO-108]
  • Fixed an issue that caused the User List page to load slowly in some environments. [PO-4108]
  • Fixed an issue in the responsive User web interface where the refund request page would not resize correctly on mobile devices, causing some fields to be cut off. [PO-4074]
  • Fixed an issue where after saving the Scan Action destination for ‘CLA Copy’ it incorrectly appeared to revert to ‘Google Drive’. [PO-1646]
  • Fixed an issue where administrators with conferred full access rights were unable to access the ‘Settings’ tab within the Print Deploy section. [PO-4271]
  • New payment gateway version available for CommWeb customers. For more information, see Payment Gateway Module Release history. [PO-4176]

Copier / Device Integration

  • Sharp OSA HTML n2.0:
    • Updated the Sharp Configuration Tool to include the latest Log4j libraries. [CDSS-6942]
    • Fixed an issue where Sharp devices with both IC Card Reader and OSA Offline Mode enabled failed to connect to the PaperCut MF. [CDSS-6897]
  • Xerox, FujiFilm, and Fuji Xerox: Fixed an issue where the language override (locale-override) configuration key was ignored. [CDSS-6909]
  • Toshiba V3+: Fixed an issue where users were unable to log in to PaperCut MF if the language override setting (locale-override) was set to a language not supported by the physical device. [CDSS-6935]
  • Ricoh: Updated the Remote Operation Client to version 1.5.2, which includes the latest RXOP and Log4j libraries. [CDSS-6921]
  • HP OXP: Fixed an issue where the first card swipe after an hour or more of inactivity will fail. [CDSS-6915]
  • Fixed an issue that caused some PDF documents submitted via Email-to-Print to be incorrectly reported as grayscale instead of color. [PIE-1031]
  • Fixed an issue on macOS where specific Canon and Epson printers prevented jobs from printing or being tracked. [PIE-1037]

Security

  • Improved security posture around Shared Account sync file locations by introducing a new security control (CVE-2026-6418). [PO-4059]
