PaperCut MF 25.0.6 (Build 74684)
Posted on 25 November 2025 09:56 AM
Print Provider version 111.2.7.9042
Print Deploy server version 1.9.2978

Enhancements

  • Revoking user authorization for Scan to Cloud: System Administrators can now revoke a user’s existing Cloud Storage authorization tokens directly from the admin interface. This provides a critical security control, allowing admins to quickly revoke access for off-boarded users or allow users to re-authorize another account. [PO-3443]
  • Revoking bulk authorization for Scan to Cloud: System Administrators can now use a bulk operation to instantly revoke all Scan to Cloud authorization tokens for a pre-defined user group or a specific list of users. [PO-3195]
  • New Fax Connector: eCorporate (Consensus): Added a new Advanced Fax Connector for eCorporate (Consensus) , a leading secure cloud fax provider. This integration is critical for supporting organizations in the healthcare sector. [PO-2986]
  • Printer access control API enhancement: Enhanced control over the Only apply filters to restricted users setting for printer access groups. This provides greater flexibility and automation for System Administrators managing complex group access rules, especially when integrating with external user management systems. [PO-3721]

Fixes

  • Fixed an issue where watermarked print jobs (using the default string that includes date/time) would fail to print on some devices that use a PCL driver. [PO-3773]
  • Fixed an issue that could cause the Options > Notifications page to crash if the internal low-toner notification settings data became corrupted or contained unexpected values, ensuring the page loads reliably. [PO-3771]
  • Fixed an issue that could prevent access to the PaperCut admin web interface via a DNS hostname and non-standard HTTPS port (9192), resulting in an HTTP ERROR 500. See known issue PO-3781 for more information.
  • Fixed an issue where manual user account balance adjustments made through the Account Details section were not displayed in the user’s Transaction History tab, leading to incomplete auditing records. [PO-3718]
  • Improved performance when using username aliasing. [PO-3709, PO-3722]
  • Fixed an issue with Card Association User Notification that caused email formatting to be lost. See known issue PO-3662 for more information.
  • Improved reliability when using data integrations to export usage data. [PO-3634]

Copier / Device Integration

  • Canon: Updated the EMEA LAN code to fix an issue that caused a setup problem with the Canon embedded application for the EMEA region. [CDSS-6295]
  • Fujifilm:
    • Performance improvements for device soap message logging. [CDSS-5383]
    • Fixed an issue that could lead to high CPU and memory utilization on the Application Server due to excessive logging from devices. [CDSS-5383, CDSS-6108]
  • HP Jedi: Fixed an issue that caused devices to not initialize upon installation of the HP FutureSmart embedded. {CDSS-6124]
  • Lexmark (eSF), Sharp eSF, Toshiba eSF, Fujifilm eSF, and Xerox eSF devices v3.1.17*:
    • Fixed an issue where some integrated scan job settings (such as Background Removal and Colour Temperature) defaulted to neutral values instead of those configured on the device’s settings. Device-configured defaults can still be used with a configuration key. See the embedded manual for more information. [CDSS-6022, CDSS-5990]
      • Added support for the eSF Common Library Updater (CLU) introduced in firmware FW25 (xxxxx.250.xxx). Before updating a device to FW25, this version must be installed. [CDSS-6060]
      • When ESF devices communicate with the PaperCut MF Application Server, they now use the server’s Fully Qualified Domain Name (FQDN). This improves consistency and compatibility with environments that rely on SSL certificates or DNS-based routing. [CDSS-5962]
  • Ricoh v3.2.13*: Fixed an issue that stopped users with certain characters in their usernames from accessing Ricoh device functions. [CDSS-6039]
  • Sharp: Added a specific Sharp OSA n2 SFP (Single Function Printer) device type (Devices > Create Device) that utilises the Sharp SFP license entitlement. [CDSS-6044]
  • Fixed an issue that prevented toner level monitoring and device status updates from working correctly when using SNMPv3 and SHA1 and MD5 authentication protocols. See known issue PIE-958 for more information.
  • Fixed an issue that caused the hardware page count on Windows to not work correctly when job IDs are suffixed with a UUID. See known issue PIE-961 for more information.

Security

  • Updated sanitization methods to improve security of product. [PO-3743]
