This is a Maintenance Release for 18.2 and contains the following changes:
Fixes:
- Fixed a translation issue that caused extra single apostrophes to display in the Admin and User web interfaces and various device interfaces.
- Fixed an issue that caused Web Single Sign-On (SSO) to fail when users attempt to sign in using Internet Explorer or Google Chrome when the PaperCut service is being run as a Domain User Account and the server is using IIS 7.0+.
- Canon with PaperCut Global Print Driver: Added a new PDL transform to fix an issue that caused jobs to print to an output tray that was different to the user's selection.
- Lexmark with PaperCut Global Print Driver: Added a new PDL transform to fix an issue that caused jobs to print to an output tray that was different to the user's selection.
- Epson ESC/P driver: Fixed an issue that caused an incorrect color page count when page-level detection was enabled.
- RISO ComColor 7050 GDI Driver: Fixed an issue that incorrectly detected a grayscale, duplex, odd page count print job as a color print job.
- iPrint performance improvement: Added two new properties (Redirect9100Command and UseRedirect9100Command) into the print-provider.conf file to improve the speed of printer redirection.
- 10squareduk: Fixed an issue that prevented value loaders from registering with PaperCut MF.

- Dell (eSF) (version 2.6.0)*:
- Fixed an issue that prevented the Mask identity number check box from appearing on the Device Details page in the Admin web interface.
- Fuji Xerox ApeosPort V+:
- Fixed an issue that sometimes caused the device’s interface to freeze when the print job settings (for example, force grayscale/duplex) were changed rapidly.
- HP (OXP):
- Fixed an issue that sometimes caused the device’s interface to freeze when the print job settings (for example, force grayscale/duplex) were changed rapidly.
- HP (OSA):
- Added a config key (ext-device.hp_osa.security.native-user-authentication) to prevent print jobs authenticated by a printer driver from being deleted.
- Kyocera (HyPAS) (version 2.2.1)*:
- Fixed an issue that sometimes caused the device to crash when performing back-to-back Integrated Scanning jobs.
- Fixed an issue that caused a "User is already logged in" message to display if the Login button was pressed twice.
- Improved performance when the device is under high load.
- Lexmark (eSF) (version 2.6.0)*:
- Fixed an issue that prevented the Mask identity number check box from appearing on the Device Details page in the Admin web interface.

- Sharp (OSA):
- Added a config key (ext-device.sharp_osa.security.native-user-authentication) to prevent print jobs authenticated by a printer driver from being deleted.
- Fixed an issue where canceling a scan job could cause a "Processing of multipart/form-data request failed. Early EOF" error in the Application Log.
- Toshiba (e-Bridge Open Platform V3+):
- Erasable Blue toner levels can now be monitored.
- Fixed a bug where rapidly changing the print job settings (for example, force grayscale/duplex) could freeze the device’s user interface.
- Toshiba (eConnect):
- Added a config key (ext-device.toshiba_econnect.security.native-user-authentication) to prevent print jobs authenticated by a printer driver from being deleted.
- Toshiba (eSF) (version 2.6.0)*:
- Fixed an issue that prevented the Mask identity number check box from appearing on the Device Details page in the Admin web interface.
- Xerox (EIP):
- Fixed an issue that sometimes caused the device’s interface to freeze when the print job settings (for example, force grayscale/duplex) were changed rapidly. [MAC-5066,]
Other Notes:
- If you are running v18.1.1 or later, there is NO database upgrade.
- Devices marked with * require installing an updated version of the embedded software to access new features and fixes.
